M.L. Lexi’s Good Reads (or Listening)

On my walk this morning, I finished listening to Robert B. Parker’s Bad Business. Not only can you never go wrong with Robert Parker’s Spenser series, but the audiobooks read by Joe Mantegna are wholly entertaining. Hard to tell I’m a fan of Joe Mantegna’s.

You can’t help but fall in love with Mantegna’s entertaining portrayal of Spenser, the veteran Boston P.I. who in Bad Business tackles the investigation of a two-timing husband and soon finds himself investigating corporate corruption.

Mystery, suspense, murder coupled with a sex-ring, blackmail, and Spenser’s usual humour is bundled into this must listen—or read—story.
