Let The Emotions Flow When Writing

Yes, writing can be emotionally draining. When writing a love, death, or personal discovery passage—to mention a few—emotions can become raw. When they do, it’s the best time to put words on paper because rest assured those words convey best what you feel to your readers.

There have been times when I’ve teared up the entire time I write a sentence or paragraphs, and that’s a good thing. By using those emotions flowing to the surface, helps me stay authentic.

Writing, as with reading, should draw an equal amount of emotion. It should move you to tears, instill anger, or teach a life lesson or… The ors are endless.

Grab yourself pen and paper or a good book and let the ors flow.
