E is for Evidence by Sue Grafton is the fifth book of her Alphabet Series and another great adventure with Kinsey Millhone.

This book is personal to Kinsey. Not only is depression setting in because she is alone during the Christmas holidays season, but the married man that she started an affair with in the previous novel, D is for Deadbeat, has taken off with his wife and kids skiing for the holiday break. To top it off she’s framed for a crime, which she must prove her own innocence while figuring out what happened.

Nothing much happens in this book that doesn’t usually happen in every Kinsey Millhone mystery. Still, it’s an entertaining read with the usual colorful collection of characters.

FUN FACT: Sue Grafton is one of the more popular female writers, both in the UK and in the US.
