M.L. Lexi’s Good Reads (or Listening)

c i for corpse

C is for Corpse by Sue Grafton is the third book of her Alphabet Series and another great adventure with Kinsey Millhone.

As is always the case with Grafton’s novels, her use of words is simple but expressive. Her characters are three-dimensional, well interwoven in each other’s lives, so very relatable, and quirky. They feel like friends and family.

In C is for Corpse a client with a touch of amnesia believes someone is trying to kill him and hires Kinsey’s expert sleuthing skills to track them down.

The book was an entertaining read full of just enough twists and turns and mystery to keep you reading, and reading, and reading some more.

FUN FACT: Sue Grafton started writing seriously when she was 18 and had her first novel written by the time she twenty-two.
